Here we have a fine quality early 19th Century black laquered papier mache snuff box, the rectangular lid with gilt printed nautical proverb "Obey Orders If You Break Owners" in a key pattern border, a really unusual quality item.

This was out of the Graham Cutts collection of treen and quality woodenware items.
